.DISCUSSION...A moderately deep marine layer tonight will result in slightly
higher RH's in the valleys, while local ridges above the inversion see poor
recoveries and low RH's this morning. Poor recoveries are possible on ridges
again tonight. Winds are forecast to remain light south to southeast this
morning, then weaken by late morning. Diurnally driven light westerly and
northwest winds will return this afternoon and redevelop each afternoon for
the remainder of the week. Warmer and drier conditions are forecast toward
the latter portion of the week and into the weekend.

.DISCUSSION...

Afternoon highs are forecast to remain steady over the next couple of days
over the fire area. Expect modest overnight recoveries through the week.
By Thursday afternoon, afternoon thunderstorms cannot be entirely ruled out.
This has the potential to bring gusty outflow winds around the fire area.
Otherwise, winds are forecast to be terrain-driven through the forecast period.
In the extended portion of the forecast, afternoon highs are forecast to
trend well above normal this weekend and early next week as high pressure builds.
